Upcoming Service Projects

• A day for a local Habitat for Humanity build?
  Laura Maltby is recruiting for a local Habitat for Humanity build day in July, August, or September, either a workday or Saturday. Build hours are approximately 8:30 am – 3:30 pm. The tasks could be quite varied – Minimum age is 16, and no skills are required, simply a desire to help. Please contact Laura Maltby (landrmaltby@aol.com) with any questions and/or to express interest and discuss possible dates. 
  
• VoteForward Returning Sunday June 12th
  In 2020 thirty FDP members with friends from the community wrote nearly1900 letters delivered in October to voters in North Carolia encouraging them to vote.
  Focus 2022 ~ Georgia – goal at least 3000 Letters
  For the mid-term elections this November we will be writing to voters in Georgia, a key state where turnout is particularly important.
  Our campaign will start June 12th and continue to October. Letter packets and instructions will be available both on Sundays and on Fridays. Contact: voteforward@abgrumplacematters.com  Jen Johnson and Bruce Shatswell are again coordinating this effort.
