Join us for a protest that is also a party. A celebration of love and authenticity in the face of hatred and fascism. It’s our annual LGBTQIA+ Pride service! All ages are invited for this intergenerational service. We will celebrate and honor the transitions of 2 of our young people: one from childhood to youth and one from youth to young adulthood in a Bridging Ceremony. Our whole lives we are journeying towards ourselves. And towards community that will hold and celebrate us for who we are. Come dressed in what makes you feel fabulous and festive! Sparkles are especially encouraged!
This service will include a glitter blessing in honor of all of the ways you sparkle. Folks who will zoom in are encouraged to bring some glitter. If you do not have any glitter, stop by the church tomorrow, Friday, between 9 am and 3 pm, to get some from Rev. Elka. Some small containers of glitter will be ready for you to grab by the “All Are Welcome” door on Parish St.

You are invited to join us in worship in person or on zoom at https://zoom.us/my/firstparishdot If you join us in person, please wear your mask and sit distanced from one another. We will unmask to speak from the front of the Sanctuary.
