Living our way beyond…

This service will offer an opportunity to consider how we, as Unitarian Universalists, embody our principles during times of transition, letting go of barriers by opening our doors to the world.   Our lives are full of stories and these stories are the foundations of our beliefs about ourselves and others. Charles Curran calls these the “normative perspectives” from which all others are perceived.” How do you want to be
understood and how do you want to understand others?

Rev. Dolham will lead a workshop, “Beyond Categorical Thinking”, after the service:

“Beyond Categorical Thinking” Workshop
Sunday October 14
, from 12:30 to 3:30

The Ministerial Search Committee will hold a workshop, facilitated by Rev. Donna Dolham, which aims to help us discern our biases and prejudices as we envision a new ministry here. Lunch will be provided and child care upon request.

For details, contact a committee member: Tom Cunningham, Katherine Jenkins, Jane Lindsay, Susan Lush, or John Minahan.
