Can you envision a world where forgiveness is sought and given as a normal part of life, a world where children are taught to forgive, not just by parents and teachers but by the example of all? Facing the truth that we’ve hurt others, or forgiving others when they have hurt us- these things are not for the faint of heart for people of any age. Yet a faith life without forgiveness lacks both grit and grace. With the Jewish High Holidays just finished, we take up these questions that matter to all faiths. The choir will sing.
