This Sunday kicks off our Sunday School!
We will be planting the blueberry bush that was watered in the Water Communion service last Sunday, trusting that it will grow and be cared for as we grow and care for each other. (So kids should be prepared to get dirty!)
After we plant the bush, we will dedicate the newly refurbished RE Rooms, and invite the whole congregation to check out the space. This will also be a time for parents to ask any questions or share any thoughts or hopes they might have for the coming year. (As well as to fill out any registration forms.)
“Taking It Home”
On the 3rd Sunday of each month, Samantha Tan will host a dialogue and reflection group for parents during Fellowship Hour. The purpose of this group is to support parents in nourishing the spiritual life of their families throughout the year. Conversations will focus on the themes that guide the congregation and Sunday School each month. The themes for the fall are Vision, Sanctuary, Memory, and Grace & Mystery.
The first of these conversations will be on Sunday, September 23rd at 12:15, and then every 3rd Sunday of the month moving forward. The group will meet at a reserved table in the dining hall.
