It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Barbara Greene on June 27. A longtime member of First Parish, including twenty-one years as Church Secretary, she was a great friend to her mentor the late Rev. James K. Allen and was instrumental in keeping the First Parish Church of Dorchester open and available to the community for years after his passing. She also was a long-time member of the kitchen conversation group, which even today continues as the Lunch Bunch every Friday.
