As part of the August 6 Summer on the Lawn series, we folded paper cranes to memorialize the victims of the Hiroshima atomic bombing. The film Paper Lanterns, was also shown, which is about the atomic bomb survivor Shigeaki Mori and his lifelong effort to honor ten American POWs killed by the bombing.
