First Parish Church in Dorchester is a caring community and Unitarian Universalist Congregation. We seek to make a place for all ages to experience and celebrate community, to teach and learn from each other through lay-led services, and to actively work for a more just and equitable future. Whoever you are, no matter where you come from, know that you are welcome here. We’re gathering in person at the Meetinghouse and also by Zoom every Sunday at 11am (10am in July/August). Children and Families

First Parish Dorchester offers a volunteer-led Faith Formation Program for children and youth. Our Sunday School connects with Unitarian Universalist themes and church services, creating a cohesive spiritual experience. We use Soul Matters from September through June for inspiration. Childcare is available for ages 0-4, while children in grades K-5 join Sunday School after the Time For All Ages.

Join Us Sundays at 11AM

We are a lay-led congregation, meaning services and spiritual leadership are provided by community members rather than a designated minister. This reflects our commitment to shared ministry, where all members participate in roles such as worship leading, pastoral care, social justice work, and other community activities.
